Car Accident Lawyers in Roswell

The first thing worth saying about a Roswell car accident case is where it ends up, because people are consistently surprised. Roswell is in Fulton County, and Fulton's county seat is Atlanta. There is no courthouse in north Fulton. A case arising at Holcomb Bridge and GA-400 is filed downtown, roughly as far from the crash as our office is, and it joins a docket in the Atlanta Judicial Circuit — which carries the highest Superior Court workload value of the five counties we practice in, 1.28 across twenty authorized judgeships. That is an Administrative Office of the Courts strain measure for Superior Court only; Georgia publishes no case-processing times, so nobody can honestly tell you what it means for your case in weeks.

The second thing is the road network, which is unusual for a city this size. Roswell's interstate-grade access is GA-400, at exits 6, 7 and 8, and everything else is state route: GA-9, GA-92, GA-120 and GA-140, several of which change name mid-city. Collisions cluster where those routes cross each other rather than at interchanges, which means the useful evidence is more often a business camera than a highway camera.

And it is genuinely awkward to reach from Cobb. Roswell is 13.8 road miles from our office but takes about 26 minutes with no traffic at all, because there is no direct Chattahoochee crossing between Roswell Road and I-285. That is why the county line moving in 1932 still has practical consequences: the city is close to Marietta and its legal system is not.

How we handle car accidents

Most car accident cases are lost in the first three weeks, before anyone talks to a lawyer. A recorded statement gets taken. A gap opens in treatment. A property-damage check gets cashed with language on the back of it. None of that is dramatic and all of it is expensive. We take these cases early, deal with the adjuster ourselves, and build a file that reflects what actually happened to you rather than what fits the insurer's software.
