About the firm

Ward Hollis spent the first six years of his career being paid by insurance companies to find the holes in injury cases. He was good at it. He learned which firms filed and which ones folded, which files got a real look and which ones got a form letter, and how much of the outcome was decided before anyone read a medical record.

He opened this firm in Marietta in 2011 on a simple premise: take fewer cases and take them further. Four attorneys, one office, and a caseload small enough that a partner can tell you where your file is without looking it up.

That means we say no a lot. We say no to cases we do not think we can improve on what you would get without us. We say no to cases outside what we do — we handle injury and death claims, and nothing else. And we say no when the honest answer is that the case is not worth what someone has told you it is worth.

What we do not do is advertise on a billboard, staff an intake room with people who are not lawyers, or settle a file because it has been open too long.
